Glenn Beck's The 7: Seven Wonders that Will Change Your Life

Glenn Beck - you know - that guy who cries on television and uses an old chalk board to scare the hell out of us. Yes - that guy.  Well, I'm not the world's biggest fan. In fact, I had never really thought much about Glenn Beck until my dad (and others) started quoting him all the time.

I have heard his talk radio show while driving to tutoring sessions - and it's during one of these times that I heard about his newest book, The 7.

No matter how cooky you think Glenn Beck is, you have to admit that he is sincere. I like that. I like it when people stand up and speak their truth - no matter how much they may be criticized for it. So, I decided to give the guy...and his book....a chance. And I'm glad I did.

This was an easy read. Yes, most of it is common sense - but common sense that we need to reconnect with these days. I appreciate the honesty and the integrity in this book. I enjoyed reading it and I feel that I learned some things too.

I wish we taught these concepts to children today. It seems that somewhere we have forgotten to tell them about courage and honor and truth. (Young girls need this now more than ever.)

Yes, I would suggest this book to anyone. If nothing else, it's a great start at self discovery and at reading self-help books.
