Anything That Isn't Love is Fear

If you’re like these people:

Then you’re really just the modern version of these people:

But if you live by love,
then you’ll never have to regret what you believe.

You see, these guys were never wrong:

And these guys were never right:

The difference is LOVE for all living creatures.

The absence of LOVE is fear.
It's just that simple.

Letter to a Friend

You are loved.

Period.

No explanation needed - so I won't try to give one. Just know that I am serious and that I am telling you the truth.

When I have been down, there was never anyone to talk to - not really. I felt that I've never had anyone to confide in.

And strangely, when I have been very happy or had very happy news, I was also afraid to entrust that with anyone.

I don't think this plane is made for answers, but I do think it is made for love - and to learn love - and to be love.
And to allow others to love you.

This is all I have.
I love you.

Do You Eat Chicken?

If given the choice, which chicken would you prefer to eat:

Would you prefer a factory farmed chicken that has been fed antibiotics, growth hormone, and arsenic? These chickens have never seen the sun. When they are slaughtered, they have to be rinsed in ammonia because the meat is so contaminated.

Or would you prefer one that has lived in the open air, has seen the sun, and eats grass and natural feed?

And if you eat eggs, where would you like your eggs to come from?

Would you prefer they come from these chickens who have lived their entire lives in battery cages, never seeing the sun, and never being able to move around? These chickens often end up standing in one place so long that their feet grow into the bars of the cage.

Or would you prefer eggs from chickens that have healthy lives?

Your choice is also your responsibility. If you don't care where your food comes from, or you don't want to know, then of course, that's your choice. BUT, if you believe in our responsibility to steward the animals on this planet (or at least to not abuse them), then it is your responsibility to know what happens to your food and to act according to your beliefs. And if you believe in God, then surely you must know that this is not how he wants his animals to be treated.

There are many people who would never hit an animal, or kick a dog.......but they will eat a chicken sandwich from a factory farm and never see the similarities. If you believe that God will judge us based on our actions, don't our actions include cruelty to all animals - not just the cute ones??

There is so much information online about what happens to factory farm animals. If you want to know the truth, then you can find it.

When Friends Are Magic

On Thursday I received a beautiful gift from my friend, Sally Asher. It's a silver necklace. On one side it says" Protect This Rider" and on the other it says "And The Horse She Rode In On."

Sally had seen it at Jazz Fest and told me that she had to get it or she would have felt guilty.

I really love the necklace.

In fact, I love it so much that I actually circled a picture of it in a Parelli catalog WEEKS ago!!!

Pure magic!

Sally Asher is a wonderful friend who is also probably psychic!!!

Life After Faerie - An Independent Film

When I lived in Tuscaloosa, I was lucky enough to get to work with the actor, Stephen Wade, and the director, Michael Gordon.  The project was called Life After Faerie, and I had an amazing time working on it. I learned alot about filmmaking and life working with these two. (I was also lucky enough to meet many of their friends, and Michael's beautiful and kind wife, Amy.) Their kindness and generosity made those couple of months in Tuscaloosa a really great experience. I didn't know that the edited version was on YouTube until recently.

Vitamin C for Radiation Damage

Several friends have asked me how to protect themselves from the radiation coming over from Fukushima.  I have added a few things to my diet/daily supplements that I think help. This video series below explains the importance of Vitamin C for anyone exposed to radiation. Please take the time to hear what is being said. I find it interesting that not only did certain people have answers that the Japanese people needed at the time (and now), but that those answers were (and still are) ignored by the government and media in Japan. Likewise, this information will not be aired in the mass media for anyone in North America.

The second video shows that after Fukushima, the Japanese government raised the acceptable radiation levels for the public without any explanation. (Of course, the reasons are obvious.) Blind trust in what we are being told by those who are afraid of losing power is a very dangerous thing these days. If you trust that these people are telling you the truth, then you do so at your own risk. As the doctor in the second video explains, "No one will protect you. You have to be responsible for your own health and protect yourself."

In the third video, they briefly discuss different kinds of Vitamin C available from different companies. (I'm not sure whether one supplement is actually better than the other.) The most interesting thing about the third video is that they discuss how the radiation from Fukushima is everywhere now - in the sea and the air.

The fourth video really sums it up when the doctor says,"The government will not protect you. Only you can protect yourself. Only you can protect your family."

Please forward this to your friends and family who are concerned about their own radiation exposure.

Everything

Everything is so precious.
And fragile.
What we touch
Doesn't even exist,
And can't even be felt.

I don't know what
I'm for,
Or you're for.

I don't know what we try for -
Or why.

I know
I'm overwhelmed,

With the enormity of nothing.
Of something.
Of everything.
